I've often wondered why we don't hear about stories like this more often. I can't imagine that the success rate for suicide bombing is above 90%. I mean, it's mostly uneducated people fucking with bombs, right?

It's easy to miss the 'Watch Your Step' sign when on your way to a spree killing.

Is anyone else envisioning this with the Benny Hill theme playing in the background?

Not Benny Hill music, but I admit that I did find it funny.

I wonder how you say "Oh shit!" in Pashtun.

As he was still trying to do a good deed, I wonder if Allah still granted him his 72 white raisins.

Isn't the answer to any such question 'Allahu Akbar'?

"Fall down - go boom!" was what one of my kids said to me once after he lost his footing as a toddler.

Now the innocence of those words are lost in my mind. If the guy didn't blow himself up, I'd almost want to help him.

You shouldn't be so hard on your kids Tom. Toddlers fall down all the time. No need to go blowing them up for a little thing like that.

13: Interesting link, M/tch.

I got a kick out of the photo and description of James "Super Chikan" Johnson and his "Sum'Mo Chikan" album. In Japan, a "chikan" is a sleazy groper of women on crowded trains and subways. Besides being a proud chikan, Johnson's album can be read to refer to either more of it, or done sumo-style!
