I'm pleasantly surprised to see the Wolfpack in at 24, but at the same time... what the hell?
Posted by: Cangrejero at November 1, 2007 08:11 AMNah, Georgetown - what, rocks?
It always puzzles me to see WSU and Gonzaga in these listings, but they sure as hell have nothing else to do out in the back beyond of Washington State there.
Posted by: TokyoTom at November 1, 2007 08:47 AMOne of the poorest showings I've ever seen for the ACC; I don't think UNC is going to get pushed too much this year on their way to the Final Four.
On a side note, UNC fans are worse than BoSox fans.

Also, check out Basketball Prospectus' ACC preview. Good stuff.

Davidson. No. 32. With a bullet.
See you November 14.

Best of luck November 14. You'll need it.
Posted by: froz gobo at November 2, 2007 01:41 AMI''m still going WTF? My beloved Jayhawks are still farking UNDEFEATED. And today we defeated Nebraska by a score that would not be embarassing at a basketball game, much less football.
Beak 'em Hawks!

heh heh...and Nebraska fired their last coach for going 9-3. Idiots. Nice to see Kansas upsetting the decades long established paradigm of Nebraska/Texas/Oklahoma. I'm pulling for you in the BCS.
Posted by: Mr. Sticky at November 4, 2007 03:24 AMInteresting that after losing Kevin Durant, Texas has actually moved up in the polls.
