The teeth remind me of that horrible (as in, awesomely campy) Kraken in The Clash of the Titans. Christ, I had nightmares about that movie when I was a kid.

Gaijin, I've spent almost twenty minutes searching for an image of the beastie that I was thinking of. It's shaped, basically, like a pre-fab meat pattie, and has this hideously girlish mouth with shovel-like teeth. I think it's the first monster to arrive to eat Andromeda. The Kraken whose image you linked to is what Perseus actually fights; this beastie just sort of subsides after the Kraken is defeated.

Anybody know what I'm talking about? Anyone?
