I turned my car around in the front yard of the Buxton space ship house on my way to the Buxton ABC store ~ 8 years ago. It was green at the time, and I didn't see any aliens in the window. I wonder if this house would float if a 20' storm surge would sweep over that sand bar? It would be quite a site to see a UFO floating up to the Cherry Point air strip north of Havelock, or the Dare County bombing range! Of course, neither destinations would be a good place for a UFO to end up.

I've had drinks in the bar underneath the 45 degree angle house in Rotterdam. It's way cool but a bitch to find furniture for, ya know?
