Motives

Posted by Froz Gobo

How is it that the profit motive is cast in such a noble light as essential to the delivery of good health care, especially when it comes to the provision of drugs, while profiting off providing drugs for health care reasons is so notably despicable?

The owners of "Compassionate Caregivers," a chain of seven medicinal marijuana stores across the state, reaped $95 million during a three year period

For comparison, GlaxoSmithKline made 1.2 billion dollars profit in the last three-month period of 2006.

B-but you don't understand Froz, the "drugs" which companies can make profits off is a totally different class than the "drugs" which people can use to make themselves feel better. Only chaos can arise from attempting to confuse the two categories.

There will always be a market for drugs.

It can be maintained by a pharamceutical industry cartel, a black market, or a free market.

Right now the American people have chosen the fascist cartel + black market option.

Golly can you get any dumber than that...

This is just another sign of a federal government ridiculously out of control, and both jealously guarding its power and showing its capricous ability to smack down all who dare to cross it. This is a small example of why the new movie "Shooter" resonates.
