That's basically the plot of every action movie. Too bad we're definitely more the hyenas of the animal kingdom; weak, but good at teamwork.

I love how we anthropomorphize stuff and take sides. This is just one side - the other is that hyenas actually make many kills that lions then steal.

Better to see this as the law of the jungle: a claim of "ownership" to resources is only as good as one's ability to defend it - or to wolf it downed before the next set of bullies comes along.

I'm not able to listen to the sound at work, but I recognize the clip as an excerpt from a great video on the lion-hyena wars in the Okavango delta.
