Toshiba's giant bubble helmet makes your TV or computer monitor appear to be broadcasting in 360° surround vision. Which would be pretty cool, I suppose, but in looking at the picture, I can see a potential drawback.

Posted by: Gaijin Biker at October 16, 2006 07:55 PMExactly, Charles. The problem is how to couple the interactive experience with ongoing sustenance. Unless they figure out a solution, this will lead to less online time, not more.
Posted by: PutzheadTom at October 17, 2006 04:16 AMBut what if they put a chee-tos dispenser inside the helmet? And every time she scores a kill in the game, she gets a tasty treat.
Posted by: Charles Watkins at October 17, 2006 11:35 AMAnother nice add-on would be beer-can holders in the rear of the helmet with curved plastic straws allowing the wearer to suck in tasty swigs.
Posted by: Clownæsthesiologist at October 17, 2006 01:46 PMthe problem is you won't even know when your mom walks in on your furious masturbate-a-thon. (Or when someone else takes a picture)
