Here's a graph of complete tooth loss by state, based on CDC and HHS data. West Virginia is the winner, but North Carolina turns in a decent showing at #8. The top 15 slots? All states that went for Bush. Hmmm. (via BiomesBlog)
TrackBackWV is head and shoulders above the competition. I'm proud to say NJ beat out Texas, if only by a hair.

Posted by: Clownæsthesiologist at June 28, 2006 10:14 AMBut Utah, very Bushy, is also almost the toothiest. Probably that church-based welfare system thing.
I'd like to change Connecticut's toothiness a bit, starting with Lieberman.

And I agree with idp re: Lieberman. But there's even more tooth work to be done in Texas.

Good one!
Posted by: M/tch M/lls at June 28, 2006 12:50 PMhmm. I wonder how strongly this correlates with methamphetamine abuse by state.
I believe Utah is up there in "toothiness" due to 2/3 of the state being related to the Osmonds.
