And DS9 had a few eps with gay (mostly lesbian) overtones, like Major Kira's alternate universe dominatrix alter ego (this was admittedly rather exploitative), and the ep where Dax started to rekindle the romance with the wife of one of her former hosts. And there was the ep where Odo met another male of his species and had to choose between him and Kira.
