It needs to be said.

Again.

Well, I hope Bush and the Republicans are proud of what they've created. We are on the path of the worst case scenario of what could happen if Saddam were removed from power. A full blown civil war and the country falls apart. And before Bush tells us that no one could have predicted it, I learned about this scenario in graduate school.

And before anyone who voted for Bush, and defended this war, tries to squirm out of it, you're now learning what it means to be an adult in the big bad world. You make decisions, and you're responsible for the consequences. And in spite of what the Republicans keep telling you, going to war has its consequences. In this case, that consequence is a civil war that's going to be nearly impossible for the US to pull itself out of in any way that doesn't further inflame the already inevitable disaster. And oh yeah, you also bankrupted our country at the same time. Oops.

Actions have consequences. 51% of you fell for George Bush's flag-waving Democrat-bashing chest-thumping remember-September-11 bullshit, and now we're all paying the price for your ignorance and his arrogance. Congratulations.

The link in the quoted post there goes to an ABC News article quoting retired Army Maj. Gen. William L. Nash, a former military commander in Bosnia-Herzegovina: "We're in a civil war now; it's just that not everybody's joined in. The failure to understand that the civil war is already taking place, just not necessarily at the maximum level, means that our counter measures are inadequate and therefore dangerous to our long-term interest. It's our failure to understand reality that has caused us to be late throughout this experience of the last three years in Iraq."

I've pounded the table before about the completely fucking obvious predictability of where we now find ourselves. Everybody should have been able to see this one coming. This administration, however, waltzed in obliviously and have been caught by surprise, every day, ever since. So really, not another word about how the Democrats "just don't get it." Not another word about "big-spending" Democrats. Bush and his band of half-witted fantasists have been wrong about everything - everything - throughout this bloody moneypit. And yet, the usual suspects line up again and again to proclaim that if we lose (because they just can't bring themselves to admit that we lost the minute we embarked on a manifestly unwinnable mission), it will be the fault of the media, of anti-war protestors, of, of, of anybody but the people who prosecuted the war and the folks who put them in power.

Despite the easy mockability of certain elements of the anti-war side (and believe me, I roll my eyes at them just as quickly), we were not the unserious side in this. We were the only ones who took the consequences seriously. And because I need a chuckle before my blood pressure reaches the point of exploding arteries, here's Red State Update on the Iraqi Civil War.

And that is why you should listen to this and send it to everyone you know:

Are we serious?

If so, we need to the beat the drum to impeach Bush. And loud.

Apparently this is not a #1 issue, but it sure looks like it should be, to our fellow Americans.

G.W. did not win in 2000. He also lost by at least 5 times as many votes nationally four years later. Kerry had a decisive victory, both in the popular and electoral votes. This massive election fraud has meant that the will of the people was ignored. That's ignorance on a grand scale, reflected in the enormous problems created by people not legally elected to high public office, appointing those not fit to serve.

There's a Constitution in this country, so let's use it. Impeachment now.
