How low can he go?

Posted by apostropher

Bush's approval rating: 34%.
Approval on his handling of Iraq: 30%
Approval of anti-terror policies: 44%
Approval of Katrina response: 32%

And the kicker, Cheney's approval rating: 18%.

And yet, our party is still completely impotent when it comes to putting forth a unified, communicable alternative vision, and too cowed to stand up to this asshole. *sigh*

Doesn't matter. He doesn't have to stand for election again.

We would have been a lot better off with McCain.

What do you think McCain would have done differently, RJ? And, a deeply unpopular executive can act as a serious drag in the 2006 and 2008 elections. Anyhow, at this point, I'd be satisfied just to see him leave office with Nixon-level approval ratings and a widespread agreement that his was a failed presidency. I'm easy like that.

An Administration of failed policies would be nice, too. Maybe that's the gift-with-purchase for all those theoretical "Moderate Republicans".
