So if you came by recently, you might have noticed a dead site here. Fear not, I'm in the middle of switching to a new hosting company and my crack support team is ironing out all the little wrinkles. I'm aware that comments and internal links are returning 404 errors. Hopefully, that should be resolved soon.
Talk at you shortly.
Update: It works! Thanks, Donald.
Update 2: And then it didn't work again! But after some registration weirdness, I believe that all is now well. Also, I've not been getting the strange errors I got regularly before moving all the stuff. Maybe you'll see fewer as well. Can't imagine the host would make a difference with that, but then my expertise in this area has been amply demonstrated over the past few days. Use this website at your own risk. I assume no responsibility for injuries.
TrackBackwho were you with before (i only ask because i'm thinking of leaving the blogger world to a hosted world)
Posted by: tweedledopey at January 3, 2006 10:10 PMProbably had a little trouble with the script that runs your blog and being able to access certain parts of the database that houses the site. All looks good now. Long live the Apostropher! I also highly recommend 1and1.com for web hosting. I run several blogs on there using Wordpress and MySQL and they run beautifully. For instance The Sports Ranchers.com uses wordpress and MySQL. I had it up and running in 5 minutes flat.
I am not trying to plug my site I am just showing an example. :)

We have our image server for Chaos Digest there, as well as several of our consulting domains and a lot of our customer sites, and they've been stellar. Easy to develop on, good SQL and PHP support, very secure. Definitely worth a look, now that you've just moved. :)
