A disc-shaped piece of ice of unknown origin plunged from the sky onto a golf course near Tokyo on Wednesday, narrowly missing players on the fairway but causing no injuries, police said.

The company I work for has its main facility in Saitama and the owner loves to play (cheat at) golf.
Must say I have mixed feelings about the lack of casualties.
Could be a chunk of ice that freezes on the outside of jumbo jet toilets when they don't flush properly, and then breaks off at a sufficient size. I read about it in the Straight Dope, if I recall.
