The brownest nose of all.

Direct from Time Magazine's Blog of the Year, the PowerTools:

It is a little-known fact, I'm afraid, that, in a series of speeches extending over a period of years, President Bush has articulated his policy vision more consistently and more eloquently than any President since Lincoln.

More eloquently than any president since Lincoln? This guy?

Maybe they mean "in the context of rhetorical styles of their times." For instance, at the time, the Gettysburg Address was sharply criticized because custom was for any political statement to run from lunch to dinner. Clocking in at a few brief but eloquent sentences, the GA actually insulted some of Lincoln's audience.

Similarly, in contrast to today's sound-bites and mission statements, Bush's occasional Urp, Hehehehehe! or Oh goddamn get this pretzel out of me may one day be seen as brilliantly brief.

Or, the PowerTools dudes could just put down their crack pipes and seek help.

That's why it's so "little-known."

Geez . . . 'the pointiest head of all' is more like it . . .
