Like a broken record

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Tuesday renewed criticisms of Iran, saying that some insurgents' weapons are entering Iraq from there. He indicated it was unclear whether they were coming from elements of the Iranian government or other parties.
"It is true that weapons, clearly, unambiguously from Iran, have been found in Iraq," he said. "It's notably unhelpful for the Iranians to be allowing weapons of those types to be crossing the border."

Well, see, Don, the Iranians have been in that neighborhood a bit longer than you have so they're going to take your advice with a grain or two of salt. It kinda depends on who in Iraq is ending up with these weapons - not that there weren't gobs of them to begin with, mind you... is this clarifying anything for you? - whether it's "helpful", as you so knowledgeably put it, or not. That's the funny thing about starting wars.

Thought you'd have learned that back in the 70s. Guess not.
