"We are not amused."

Posted by apostropher

"[Maryland] First lady Kendel Ehrlich, in a fiery speech to Republican supporters on the lower Eastern Shore, joined her husband's public fight against newspapers, saying they 'lie' and 'need to be punished'."

She then banged her scepter on the floor, adjusted her crown, and stormed out screaming, "Off with their heads!"

Memo to Kendel: You are not my mother, beehortch.

Actually, "We are not amused" would have been a far more appropriate response to the coverage, whether or not it was fair.

The Washington Post is biased? Against Republicans? Holy Shit, which Washington Post have I been reading?

Unrelated... I went by the Baltimore Sun to see what kind of a rag it easy. Frickin' FUNNY headline there today (and yeah, they endorsed Kerry btw)

If they'd stop copying press releases of politicians, 90% of the lies would be eliminated.

Damn liberal media!

They "lie" and "need to be punished." And if you don't believe that... Then you should.

The New Yorker, which has never before endorsed a canidate in the history of its existence endorsed Kerry. There were more serious things going on in that election than basic left vs. right rivalries.
