Poorly chosen words.

Did I just use my out loud voice?

Colorado Gov. Bill Owens did a generally fine job of organizing and hosting the Western Governors' Association symposium on Native American gaming that convened in Denver on Tuesday. An avowed gambling opponent, Owens nonetheless was commended by several participants for putting together the two-day event at the Grand Hyatt so tribal gaming advocates could push their cause in front of government officials and others from throughout the region. The event drew extensive first-day coverage from Electa Draper of the Denver Post, Deborah Frazier of the Rocky Mountain News, David Kelly of the Los Angeles Times, Hil Anderson of United Press International, and Colleen Slevin of the Associated Press. None, however, mentioned what was likely the only misstep of the conference: when Owens suggested that a speaker get his microphone functioning quickly because "the natives are restless today."

Uhh, I mean, uhhh...

St00pid Media! Why do they not think this type of thing will raise raitings/readership? I mean it's depressing how stupid and assholic our leaders are, but it's always interesting. There's a god damn conspiracy I tell ya!
