Some anarchists have latched on to the environmental and animal rights movements, and I have to say they are not the kinds of friends you want. Calling anarchists "lefties" is kind of like calling fundamentalist nutjobs "righties," at least back in the 80's. Be careful, or in 20 years the fringe left may end up in the same relative position as the fundies are today. (You ask some people and they say it's already happened, but most of those people are "righties.")

John, are you sure there are that many Black Bloc members in the US? Although my wife and I walked off an anti-war protest in Houston because of their large presence, I still don't think their numbers are anywhere close to the number of Evangelicals in Red Amerikkka.
