Ha. I was just looking at those things the other day on wikipedia. Largest eye-to-head ration of any mammal I believe. Tweedlegirl thinks they are ugly.

I've been to Bohol and frolicked with the little beggars. You could fit two of them in the palm of your hand.

They look cute and cuddly, but they sure don't feel like it to touch. They're quite moist and leathery and when they climb all over you (as they do when you visit the tourist stops to see) it feels like a hundred spiders are tap-dancing on you.

Wow. OK. So the image was creepy, but I could survive. It wasn't some nekkid dude and thirty of his clones with rifles. But the hundred spiders tap-dancing on us? So much for ever sleeping again.

Tap-dancing spiders! Those freaky eyes! I'm going to need a sedative, shower and bug spray, stat.
