I was discussing Obama with a friend of mine shortly after his speech to the Democratic Convention, and we both confessed to having the almost immediate fear that this man would be assassinated. It did not, I admit, occur to me that some would see him as the antichrist. But I'm not really surprised.

After the recent tsunami in Asia, I have once again become very interested in the "end of the world". I started thinking about the anti-christ and Barack Obama was the person who came to mind. If he runs for prez in 2008 and wins, my mind will be made up. He sure isnt getting my vote.

Obama certainly is anti-family like most democrats. On the night of his Senate victory, Obama's wife cheerfully introduced Obama to the crowd as her "babies' daddy." This is the title that uneducated, unemployed, single parents in the ghetto give the DNA contributor of their children. I felt really bad. In a time where black leaders should encourage young ghetto-ites to participate in responsible family units, we have this articulate leader being referred to not as a father, husband.... but by his own wife as merely a "babies' daddy." Sometimes I wonder if the Black Leaders in this country want young blacks to be stupid, uneducated, poor, single teen parents. A shame. Very interesting. Today is Sunday the 14 of March 2006. I've just read the article on Barack Obama in the New York Times entitled: Golden Today, But will they love him tomorrow? There is definitely something not quite right about this man. I wasn't too interested in the article until an uncanny feeling overtook me. I had the strangest premonition of this man becoming a very influential world figure in the future. As with all world figures, they are confronted by all the possible forces of good and evil with which to influence and manipulate their decisions. Before I could finish reading the article, the idea that this man would unfortunately sercombe to negative and destructive forces of power was undoubtedly apparent.I was very unnerved. I have never experienced something of this sort in my life. I was entranced by this article and felt pressured to finish it as quickly as possible. The final paragraph read as follows:

"I want to thank you for all the generous advance coverage you have given me in anticipation of a successful career," Mr. Obama said."When I actually do something, we'll let you know." And no doubt, when that happens, the world will notice.

All I pray is that what ever his place is in future world politics, it will not be the initiating of war on the countries of this world.

Yes, Obama is uncommonly popular for any junior politician and he sells out every venue where he speaks. Yes, he is highly educated and profoundly articulate. Did anyone read the TIME Magazine article on Obama? It really creeped me out. At one of Obama's speaking engagements he was introduced in the following way: "He's all of us! He's not black! He's not white! He's not ..." The speaker then faltered and realized that she was about to say that He's not male or female. This kind of a description for anyone is worrysome. I believe that this is exactly how antichrist will be. Also, Obama announced today that he will be considering a run for president in '08. We have to remember that the Anti-Christ (aka Satan is Completely possessed). What I mean by this is that Satan in his whole heart of hearts believes that all the evil which he is doing is Truth. HE truly beleives that it is his purpose to control the world and control human-beings. If Obama does rise to power and is elected pres. in '08, there might be a chance that he is the anti-christ and these are the end of days... you can never tell either way. Not to sure on Mr. Obama being the AntiChrist as Bible prophecy indicates otherwise in a few respects. Number one being location and his parentage which Obama doesn't fit and also he is meant to have a few other abilities and characteristics which he seems lacking in.

The prophet Ezekiel calls the Antichrist "Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal" (Ezekiel 38:2). Scholars agree that the ancient land referred to as Magog would appear to be a powerful country or region of peoples to the north of Israel. Although there was no such land called Russia in Ezekiel's day, the term "Rosh" is amazingly similar to Ros (also spelled Rus), the name given to the people that settled along the major rivers of the land now known as Russia, circa 700-800 A.D., and from which the terms Russia and Russians derive. Meshech and Tubal could be renderings of Moscow and Tobolsk, cities that weren't to exist for one to two thousand years from when Ezekiel lived. Moscow is the capital of Russia, and Tobolsk, until recent times, was the most important city of Siberia. Since the cities didn't yet exist, it would be understandable that Ezekiel used names that were familiar to him and similar in sound. For these reasons many Bible students believe that the Antichrist will rise out of Russia.

There are also indications in Scripture that the Antichrist will have something to do with Egypt (Daniel 8:22-26). Scripture also points to Europe, indicating that it will be a key player in the Antichrist's world government, whose leaders will fully unite behind him. "These are of one mind, and they shall give their power and authority to the Beast" (Revelation 17:13). The Antichrist is also described in the Bible as the "son of perdition" & the "beast"!

Like Hitler, who was one of history's antichrist archetypes, he will have great charisma & speaking ability, "a mouth speaking great things."

The Antichrist will rise to power on a wave of world euphoria, as he temporarily saves the world from its desperate economic, military & political problems with a brilliant 7-year plan for world peace, economic stability & religious freedom.

The Antichrist could well rise out of the current chaos in the former Soviet Union. The prophet Ezekiel names him as the ruler of "Magog," a name that Biblical scholars agree denotes a country or region of peoples to the north of Israel. Many have interpreted this to mean modern day Russia.

His power base will include the leading nations of Europe, whose leaders, the Bible says, will "give their power & strength unto the beast." The book of Daniel especially chapter 2 give more insight on the role Europe plays during the reign of the AntiChrist.

The Bible even gives some clues about his personal characteristics. The prophet Daniel wrote that the Antichrist "does not regard the desire of women." This could imply that he is either celibate or a homosexual. Daniel also tells us that he will have a "fierce countenance" or stern look, and will be "more stout than his fellows"--more proud and boastful.

The 7-year peace-pact (or covenant) that is engineered by the Antichrist is spoken of a number of times in the Bible. Under the final terms of the Covenant, Jerusalem will likely be declared an international city to which Judaism, Islam & Christianity will have equal rights. Scripture indicates that the Jews will be permitted to rebuild their Temple on Mt. Moriah, where they revive their ancient rituals of animal sacrifice.

According to prophecy the Antichrist will not only be a master of political intrigue, but also a military genius. Daniel describes several major wars that he fights during his 7-year reign, apparently against the U.S. & Israel, who will oppose him during the second half of his reign.

For awhile, most of the world is going to think the Antichrist is wonderful, as he will seem to have solved so many of the world's problems. But, three-and-a-half years into his seven year reign he will break the covenant & invade Israel from the North.
At this time he makes Jerusalem his world capitol & outlaw all religions, except the worship of himself & his image. The Bible says that the Antichrist will sit in the Jewish Temple exalting himself as God & demanding to be worshiped.

Frankly I am soooo scared for everybody...but like Jesus at Gesthemene i shall let myself be vulnerable and allow myself to let history be and if I must die by the sword, then by the sword I shall die. We seem to have gotten a little off tract. I cant believe that at this early stage, others are noticing Illinois Senator Barak Obama. Not since Ian McClelland playing the part of Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) has someone fit the role of Antichrist as well as a relatively unknown Senator from Illinois.

The rise of Obama and his succession as the next President of the United States is one of the last pieces of a predicted apocalyptic transformation.

I am 34/M/Canada...Lets just say that I have been closely watching World events for 20+ years, knowing that we are witness to an exceptional time in our history. I developed an unexplained fascination with a prophecy shared by most religions and cultures.

Our collective goal as a planet is to live in harmony with all religions, nationalities, animals and nature. We strive to evolve and improve as a pluralistic society free from conflict and needless suffering. Our ancestors, prophets, philosophers, religious and historic leaders have consistently warned that humanity must change its barbaric ways or force a "divinely inspired" intervention; an Apocalypse, Armaggeddon, "End of Times" cleansing.

Now back to Senator Obama. First lets examine how history describes the Antichrist. He will appear when the World is headed for the third, largest and last catastrophe; World War III, the "Battle for Armaggeddon"(Russia, China, North Korea and various Islamic States vs U.S.A., Israel and the secular West). He will rise suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, on the power of his speech. The World will embrace him as saviour to the current crisis. However, we are warned that his true intentions are to trigger a "Final Battle".

Here are some of the recent considerations for title of Antichrist: Gorbachev to Reagan, Milosevic to Osama Bin Laden, Bush to Kim Il Jong , Ahdmedinajab to Chavez, Condoleezza Rice to Colin Powell. These candidates have been dismissed because they have neither fooled humanity by disguising their true intentions nor have the charisma and powerful speech required by the Antichrist.

Obama is the best Antichrist contender to surface in recent history. The first thing I noticed about him is his incredible gift for public speaking. He says everything right, has answers that Americans want to hear on all issues from Social issues to a solution for Iraq.

Senator Barak Obama has already appeared on Time magazine, Larry King, Oprah and Jay Leno. No one had heard about him before the 2004 DNC and seems to have come out of nowhere. He is well poised to charm his way into an America electorate, that in two years will be outraged by dangers created by the current Administration.

America will do what appears imposible right now: a Black male candidate will win the Presidency from over female candidate, Hillary Clinton. Nov. 2008) Democrat Barak Obama becomes America's next President.

In his interview with Jay Leno last week, he addressed concerns about his race, (Mother is from Mid-West and father from Africa), his "strange" name (he was born in Hawaii).

Its unfortunate that Obama is such a likeable person. I hate to think that he has bad intentions. (I guess thats the whole point of the Antichrist's deception) Senator Obama makes me enjoy watching politics in the way that we have enjoyed listening to JFK, Reagan, and Bill Clinton. I suspect that we have only begun to witness the grandure and awe of what Barak Obama will represent to humanity. I hope that we can change our ways before Barak Obama leads the divine or natural answer to our continued historical problems.

He was a weekly guest on Tavis Smiley's radio show, which was one of the highest rated shows on NPR, for years before the 2004 DNC. I believe that is even more indicative of anti-christiness than being on Oprah and Jay Leno.
