Nick Berg tried to leave Iraq in March he was booked on a flight out and missed it because - We - the Americans - detained him and interrogated him. His family had to file a lawsuit so that he would be freed from being held without charges being filed and allowed to come home.
He wouldn't have been in Iraq to be kidnapped and murdered as revenge for US miliatary abuses if the US miliatary hadn't already kidnapped him themselves.
