From the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday:
Bush told his senior aides Tuesday that he "didn't want to see any stories" quoting unnamed administration officials in the media anymore, and that if he did, there would be consequences, said a senior administration official who asked that his name not be used.
Um. Yeah.
TrackBackGood luck.
Y'know, I'm torn on this. This smearing - leaking stuff is bad business and should result in frog-marching, no doubt. But this administration keeps such secrecy, it's an unfortunate consequence of the scandal that they'll keep even tighter control of info that does get out. Like so much else this White House does, accountability of government gets ill-served.
